Jeff, This conversion kit only fits the 12 gauge Remington 870 shotgun ONLY. It will not work with a 3-1/2 inch receiver, ribbed barrel, or 18-inch barrel with rifle sights.

ONLY fits the 12 gauge Remington 870. This conversion kit WILL NOT WORK with 20 gauge 870 or ribbed barrel.

The stock probably would work, as would the pistol grip, but the barrel of a 20ga is going to have a different outer diameter then that of a 12ga and that would cause fitment issues.
