Contact this email ( info@bullpupunlimited.com ) to see if your 500A slug gun will work with the bullpup kit. I know that a certain version of 500 does not work. Also, your slug gun has a rifled barrel? If so, I don't think it will work well with shotshell for home defense. And I don't recommend using slug for home defense either...too much recoil and penetration. I hope this helps.
