2 3/4 or 3 are both fine and safe.

Yes! A 3" chamber will shoot 3" and 2 3/4 just fine, and no it won't cycle one better than the other unless you have a gun with an older gas system, then it may not cycle light target loads well. I hope this helps

Richard, yes Sir. Any length Shotgun Chamber can shoot that length or shorter Shells no issue. Cheers and stay safe!

Yes you can, either one is fine in a 3" chamber.

Richard, Yes 2 3/4" shells function just fine in a 3" chambered shotgun.
