Just from looking at the description I would say .223 because it will also fire in a 5.56. If I was going to buy it, I would use Chat now and ask a Buds representative to be sure. I own a .223 and would have no use for 5.56 ammo.

These are .223 and is safe to be fire from both 5.56 and .223 rifle.
