If its chambered in 308 Winchester, it'll run both, unlike 223/556, 308 Winchester is a higher pressure round then the Nato 7.62×51 so you can shoot 7.62×51 out of a 308 but can't shoot 308 out of 7.62x51 Nato.

Tomas, absolutely yes Sir. Yes. . 308 is actually a bit higher chamber pressure than 7.62x51, so the 7.62 is safe from a . 308 but not necessarily the other way around. It's the opposite from 5.56 vs. .223, interestingly enough. Cheers and stay safe!
