The only flat ammo I've ran the under ammo +p xtreme penatrator rounds through my VP9, HK's like hotter ammo anyways (at least mine does) and I never had any FTF or FTE's, its really gonna depend on whY gun your running them through and what flat ammo your using. I've also ran Speer gold dot and Federal HST through all of my pistols and haven't had any failures with any of those either ( these are hollow points and not true flat nose ammo, but they also don't have much of a rounded nose like ball ammo) and they've fed reliably everytime.

Bob, no ammunition specified for an accurate answer Sir. That said, I use several varieties of flat nosed soft points, and have not experienced any issue through any of my handguns ranging from subcompacts to full-size and 9mm carbines. Modern firearms are much more reliable these days. Cheers and stay safe!
