In my Ruger MKIV these do not cycle and you have to manually work the slide after each shot. For reliable function in a semi-auto 22 supersonic is almost always the better choice, not much point in subsonic for most purposes besides getting rid of the sonic boom when using a suppressor. That being said, if you are shooting suppressed I have had good luck getting CCI Quiet-22 to cycle.
Orin, only a revolver and not reliably in a semi-auto sir due to a very low powder charge. Standard and hi velocity CCI 22lr ammunition is the standard by which 22lr is judged for reliability. Cheers and stay safe!
THE STRONG SILENT TYPE. The Super Colibrí was made for hunting and target shooting. Ultra-quiet, it offers higher velocity and energy than the standard Colibrí for when that little extra punch is needed. It's designed for bolt-action or revolver platforms.
Orin, These rounds will not cycle a semi auto. Will work in a revolver High velocity 22 lr ammo is best in a semi auto pistol. These round work best in a bolt action or single shot 22 lr rifle or revolvers.
