You'd have to purchase a mounting plate to put a red dot on it, as it doesn't come pre-cut for optics. That said - there is a Kimber Arctic LW 9mm that comes with a Vortex Venom red dot on it: https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/411559142/kimber+2020+shot+show+stainless+lw+%28arctic%29+%28oi%29+9mm+9%2b1
You would need a mount like this one https://www.mountsplus.com/egw-red-dot-sight-mount-kimber-1911-burris-fastfire-vortex-venom-viper.html Or to have the slide milled aftermarket I'd recommend this over a dovetail mount, it cost a little more but is a much more secure option Primary machine mills 1911s and does fine work https://primarymachine.com/1911-2011-optic-milling/
Patrick, Pew Pew Tactical can advise you on a dovetail based mounting plate that simply replaces the rear sight : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GamxZxs8yC0&t=5s
