You can add the item to your cart and go to the checkout. If you're able to use layaway it'll show up as one of the payment methods. Buds has a history of pulling the layaway option when things are crazy, and they don't announce it.
Buds announced they are suspending regular layaway awhile ago, I can't find where on the site it says it but, the option has been removed for regular layaway, youll see this if you try to put one on layaway. But items like this if you look right above the "add to wish list" button there is text that says "layaway TB only" it doesn't say this on every shotgun, because its only available on certain items https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/411558977 And there's unfortunately no option on the filter to filter which o es are eligible for tb layaway. You just have to browse through and see which ones are eligible ill look through and link to a few that are https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/411559490 https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/128342 https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/415012241 https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/74682 https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/pro
Gary, where it says 'used guns' that means only TB members can layaway used guns. TB members can also layaway new guns. With that being said, not all guns are available for layaway. Look under the blue 'ask the community' button on the page of the gun you want to buy. If it doesn't say 'layaway TB only' then that gun is not available for layaway.
Gary, since there have been so many temporary policy changes on layaway's Sir, I would just contact Buds Customer Service and ask directly for the most accurate answer at 1-859-368-0371 9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri. or use the Blue Chat now button at the bottom right corner 9am to 9pm Mon - Sat and 9am to 7pm Sunday.
Per the Bud's associate I spoke with, some items are eligible for layaway and some are not. It just depends.
