NO, this is compatible with .25-06 Rem, 6.5x55 Swedish, .270 Win, and .30-06 Springfield. The 240 weatherby magnum uses a Weatherby Magnum Action, not a long action. I hope this helps

Stephen, no Sir - This is a Standard Long Action Bolt Face Compatible with .25-06 Rem, 6.5x55 Swedish, .270 Win, and .30-06 Springfield. I would contact Remington Customer Service to get the recommended Bolt for the 240 Weatherby Magnum at TEL: 1-800-243-9700.
