Yes, This is mil-spec military style ammunition for your military style AR-15. This ammunition is for use only for chambers marked 5.56 NATO, which the SW MP15 is, this basically just M855 (Green tip ammo) with out the tip painted Green i have ran plenty of it through my ars without issues.

Rebecca, yes. The barrel is stamped 5.56NATO so SS109/M855 will be right at home fired from this rifle. Cheers and stay safe!
