The newer EA witnesses take cz 75 and mecgar cz mags, id go to a gun shop/ pawn shop that sells cz magazines, take the pistol with you and try some different cz variants and see if any of them fit.

Contact EAA Corp for magazine help. Most of their models are built on the 45 frame and use their own mags.

Randall, All you have to do is search --17 round magazine for pre 1982 EAA Witness 9 mm-------- they do come up at Greg Grote, LLC Shooting Sports Supply. They are $25. Here are the part numbers and you can search where else to locate the. Mec-Gar part number MGWIT9LFAFC or EAA Magazine part number 101935. And the year the magazines changed from these used in the heavy frame model you have is 2005. Happy Holidays.
