It weighs just a hair under 9 pounds, comes stock with a recoil pad and a threaded barell to run a muzzle brake or compensator of your choosing, adjustable length of pull, all are going to add up to a pretty smooth shooting experience very manageable recoil.
Homer, recoil is a mid range recoil pulse. It is less so with 155gr loads and creeps up a little bit with heavier bullets. This recommended Dead Air muzzle brake will cut approximately 30% recoil off the .308: https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/1520/dead+air+da102+keymod+muzzle+brake+308%2f762+steel+5%2f8x24
The recoil is mid-range in terms of recoil pulse. The gun is rather heavy at 9lbs. With scope, bipod, and fully loaded mag, this will weigh at least 11lbs. It will recoil noticeably more than 5.56 and a bit more than 7.62x39 but would not be bad at all. It also come with recoil pad, which will help soften and smoothen recoil by a lot. If the recoil is too much, you can install a muzzle brake too since it got a threaded barrel. I hope this helps!
