Luis, yes. There is no top rail / mount to add a Red Dot by standard means. The rear sight can be replaced by a dovetail based mounting plate to add a Red Dot. Details from Pew Pew Tactical here : youtube.com/watch?v=GamxZxs8yC0&t=28s
For most firearms I usually recomend people either get a factory optics ready slide or have their slide milled after market but 22lr has such mild recoil these are one of the few firearms you can use a dovetail mount to attach a reddot. For the TX22 Galloway precision makes on thats only $26 and can be purchased here https://gallowayprecision.com/optic-mount-plate-for-taurus-g2-g3-and-tx22-pistols Install video here https://youtu.be/Fd48y0aipIU With that mount you have the choice to mount either a JPoint, Shield Sight Reflex Mini Sight, Vortex Viper, Vortex Venom, ADE RD3 Series, or the Burris FastFire series of optics Lakeline makes a couple different mounts for the tx22 as well. https://lakelinellc.com/product-category/taurus-pistol-parts-and-accessories/taurus-tx-22/
