I believe this product (from the only one picture), will allow the handle and hammer to show above the holster. My concern is addressing if the revolver will stay upright and not bend out; so that a shirt of decent thickness would be sufficient to make it not too noticeable. My goal is not for full concealment but to have it fit well on the belt and not be too noticeable.

That is more on the belt than the holster.  With a good carry belt it will work well.

David, this will be a non issue with a sufficiently stiff gun belt Sir. Regular belts may have sufficient stiffness initially but will quickly lose stiffness and shape whereas a quality reinforced gun belt will not. Cheers and stay safe!
