Gary, barrel is 16.1" as stated in the description.

It is indeed a 16" barrel, with an 11" free float handguard. The 18" MPR edition of this rifle is the 1st AR i ever bought and it is built like a tank. These rifles have everything you need right out of the box, (except iron sights, but mine i have an LPVO on so back up iron sights wouldn't be usable anyways)
