Online reviewers had a lot of issues with these when they 1st came out (the new production) from cylinder lock to not cycling among other issues, from what ive heard Colt was really good at warranty replacement or repairs on any pythons that had these issues. Hickock45 has 2 video reviews of the New Pythons, the 1st one he had issues right out of the gate, he sent that one back and they sent him a new one that ran flawlessly. So hopefully colt has fixed whatever was going on in their production that was causing these issues, but there definitely have been some issues.

Not even close to the originals, but not bad. There were some early issues, but they seem to have sorted it out. They lock up tight, but the action is different. It's worth buying, but many places are listing them well over MSRP.
