NO, unfortunately, the 22 mag frame CANNOT handle the recoil of 380cal.,9mm, or a 38. Moreover, the 22 mag is rimfire ammo, it needs to be converted to centerfire in order to shoot the above cartridges. Your only option is to get a dedicated 380cal.,9mm, or a 38 Derringer. I hope this helps
