Ronald, that depends on what you are buying. For firearms, during checkout, you must choose a FFL to have your gun shipped to. You would then go to him to complete the transfer. For ammo, it would be shipped directly to your house, but you would need to supply Bud's with your credentials first. Only holders of a valid CT Carry Permit, Eligibility Certification, Long Gun Eligibility Certificate, or Ammunition Certificate and a State-Issued Photo ID will be able to purchase ammunition and/or magazines.

You pay buds for the firearm, select your ffl, then buds ships it to your ffl (local gunshop) the rest of the process ( background check, transfer paperwork/fees, licenses, etc...) is done between you and the shop who accepted the transfer, after buds ships it, the process is the exact same as if you'd purchased locally, except you have already paid for the firearm.
