Tony, this will work on the Marlin 881 bolt gun. The Bolt angle won't interfere with the scope.

This will give you plenty of clearance, (at least enough to shoot comfortably). Marlins are notorious with this issue and i always think high when configuring. But this setup you selected looks good to me.
