Tim, yes Sir. I have the similar Rock Island Armory VR-80 Shotgun and slugs are no issue. Just shot through Modified Choke max and preferably through the Improved Cylinder Choke for best accuracy. It will be decently accurate out to 120 to 150 yards. It will shoot farther but the drop is way more pronounced after 150 yards. Cheers and stay safe!
