Yes but with how the rounds eject itd probably work better to mount it forward of the ejector, you'd need to get it drilled and tapped to accept a rail forward if the ejection port (most reputable gunsmiths can do this for less then $60) and with mounting your optic forward of the Ejector you'd need to make sure that you were using an optic with a good eye relief, like a reddot, prism, or holographic sight. But a traditional scope wouldn't likely work well set that far forward, there are a lot of PCC's and AKs that have forward mounted reddot and they work well.
