YES! Galil ace pistol with a brace is legal in MI and is register and regulated like any other pistol. Overall length 27.5" with Brace Extended and 19.5" with Brace Folded. CHECK restriction HERE ( https://www.budsgunshop.com/feeds/state_reg/michigan_restrictions.pdf ) I hope this helps!
Brook, **NO**, the ISRAEL WEAPON INDUSTRIES GALIL ACE is Overall length 27.5 inches with Brace Extended and 19.5 inches with Brace Folded. Whoops I was incorrect sorry I misread the compliance pdf, with the brace it is NOT compliant the pistol has to be UNDER 26" not over, sorry. With the brace its 27½" without the brace it's 19½" so it is legal without the brace, but as configured its a no go sorry, I reread the pdf after I posted that, but it won't let me edit my original post. You could always go with an IWI Zion as well that's an AR15 by the same manufacturer with a 16" barel and they are in stock in quite a few places.
