It all depends on whether this "Lady Smith" is a J-Frame, K-Frame or M-Frame gun. If its a .38 that means its a M-Frame. Smith and Wesson 642 is a J Frame and will fit with "Lady Smith" which is a J-Frame. I hope this helps!
