One person said it's legal one person said it was not. It is a semi automatic it does have a detachable magazine and has a threaded barrel. no pistol grip but the other two I think will be a no go for New York. Before I purchase this I want to make 100% sure.

If NY doesn't classify the finned pistol grip as a pistol grip you'd be good to go.

James, you are absolutely correct. The threaded barrel makes it illegal in NY. You want the non-threaded model 12001, currently out of stock at Bud's. Google that model and you can find it in stock, Bud's won't let me post the link.
