Brock, it is a relatively easy mount. I would recommend Medium height Rings for up to 44mm scopes and High Rings for 50MM Scopes. Cheers and stay safe!

Yeah it is pretty easy, just don't over torque your screws as you could damage the optic tube. If you have any problems mounting it (which you shouldn't) most sporting good stores will mount and bore sight for about $20-$30.
