WEIGHT 7.5 LBs. If you have experience with 12GA shotgun, it recoils a little LESS than other 12 GA shotguns due to large recoil pad and weight. But the recoil really depends on what 12GA ammo you put through it. I know a 5 feet tall skinny girl who has this gun, I think its fine for most people. I hope this helps!
