Hi, can anyone give me some insight on a 1987 era colt golt cup national match series 80 . Im looking at 1 in stainless steel. I know based on serial number it was during the strike years and not really sure if those guns had issues or are of decent quality. any help is appreciated.

I used to own one from that era.  Worked flawlessly and was a smooth shooter. Sold it several years ago only because I was offered a nice chunk of change.  Buddy still has it and loves it. Hope my 2 cents helps. Good luck.
