I recently purchased the VR80 and I would like to know what the best gas piston and choke combination would be for 00 buck shot and #4 buck shot as opposed to lighter loads.  Thanks,  Arnie

Arnie, I have the VR-80 and the best for Buck Shot is the Heavy Piston and Modified Choke. On the flip side, if you use Federal or Hornady with the Flite Control or Versatite wads, the Improved Cylinder Choke produces the tightest buck shot patterns. Cheers and stay safe!

Thanks so much James !  I had heard that Rock Island said that the stock choke and piston would shoot anything, but I was kind of skeptical of that based on the videos I was watching.  Much appreciated !!
