Yes the G2C is not very ammo finicky, but I would only buy a box or 2 before stocking up, its always a good idea to see how well it runs in a particular firearm.

Stephanie, a box or two for self defense is fine. I would buy some ammo not rated +P for practicing at the range. The following is straight from your users manual--- Even if your Taurus firearm is rated for Plus-P ("+P") ammunition, such ammunition generates pressures significantly in excess of the pressures associated with standard ammunition. Such pressures may affect the useful life of the firearm or exceed the margin of safety built into many firearms. Unless you need +P ammunition, do not use it, particularly for practice.
