Sholom, no need, it is a Pump action shotgun and does not have the same restrictions as a Semi-Auto Shotgun in NY. Details under Shotguns here : https://www.budsgunshop.com/feeds/state_reg/new_york_restrictions.pdf

Sholom, the gun is NY legal as is. Pistol grips are only restricted on semi-auto shotguns. https://www.budsgunshop.com/feeds/state_reg/new_york_restrictions.pdf
