It has 2 safeties. 1 on the back of the grip like a 1911. The other is on the trigger like a glock. Both are instinctual when you grip and fire the weapon.

Dean, it does not have a Manual Safety but includes a Grip Safety (Safety Lever at the rear upper Grip), a Trigger Bar Safety, a Loaded Chamber Indicator and Striker Status Indicator. Cheers and stay safe!

As the others said there is no manual thumb safety but the grip safety is simple and easily depressed by right or left handed shooters when a full grip is obtained. This Pistol also features ambidextrous slide release levers as well as ambidextrous magazine release levers, features a combat U rear sight and a fiber optic front sight, has the META (match enhanced trigger assembly) and a match grade barrel, this pistol is very smooth and Ergonomic, and one of my favorite pistols i own, its a little big for an edc piece but due to its high capacity it sits in my front room in a "hidea box" this is my go to pistol for a potential home intruder, this would be the gun I grab to accompany me to get to my rifles.
