Hello everyone. New to buying a firearm online and have been looking for a Taurus 692 and everyone and their mother is sold out. Is there anyway to purchase from the manufacturer? Can I waltz into a dealer and ask to order one? Appreciate the help..

You can also look on auction and for sale sites like (G)un Br0ker or armslist.com, and Gunsamerica.com

But most manufacturers do not do sales directly from the manufacturing facilities.

Steve, a local FFL can put in an order for one Sir but, they will likely also be affected by the current high demand and low supply market as everyone else to be honest. Cheers and I hope you acquire one soon.

Most manufacturers do not sell directly to individuals, they sell to distributors and dealers directly.  The 692 has been out of stock for quite a while most places, probably not many imported lately.
