Michael, yes Sir it is. Steel shot is not an issue on this model. Just through Modified choke only. You can shoot up to #2 Steel Shot in a Full Choke. larger steel shot will not compress and will eventually stretch/damage the full choke as steel does not compress like lead. Cheers and stay safe!
