This is 22LR revolver and will ONLY fire .22LR ammo. It does NOT fire .22 magnum unless you purchase the 22 magnum cylinder conversion. This can be done by contacting Heritage customer service and arrange for a conversion. I hope this helps!

With a conversion kit you can or they sell models that include both cylinders.
