Your new Vortex Crossfire riflescope will require 1-inch high or medium (medium is good enough) height rings. This will provide complete clearance of scope and rifle—avoiding any contact with the barrel, receiver, bolt handle or any other part of the rifle. I hope this helps!
Robert, medium Rings will work best. I highly recommend the Tactical heavy Duty rings here : https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/711004296/tactical+6-hole+rings+1+inch+medium+black
get a two-piece ring set in the absolute best quality you can afford. Heck - skimp on scope if it means you can get a nicer set of rings. For darn near any riflescope and traditional bolt gun setup, medium height rings will work just fine. Don't fall under the idea that the scope MUST be mega low to the barrel - the differences are moot performance-wise, and if you get it so low, you're always smashing your face into the stock just to see through the scope, you've put yourself at a disadvantage. Only go high for clearance reasons - a scope that's mounted too high will also result in an uncomfortable and inconsistent cheek weld.
