Gerald, different manufacturer UPC codes mean two different configurations. The model above has Sights: FT: 1-Dot Luminescent RR: 2-Dot Luminescent and the 509MRD has All Black Co-Witness Height Sights. Cheers and stay safe!

MRD is optics ready (slide comes milled ready to accept resdot mounting plates), has night sights, and has 3-17 rd magazines. https://fnamerica.com/products/law-enforcement/fn-509-mrd/ ---------------- The other one is bot milled for a redot, has luminescent sights ( not true night sites they glow when charged by light) and 2-15 rd magazines.

This one has a standard slide and sights, the MDR has "FN Optics Mount System" basically just a cut slide for running an optic.
