I have a smith and wesson 5.45x39 AR, and its one of the most damaging rounds that I have fired into ballistic gel.I killed a dear with a 60gr wolf hp and it pulverized the whole chest cavit.i have noticed that the shortened 55gr rounds seem to not feed well,almost sticking when fed.where is the full lenght 55gr hp ammo.leaving out the air bubble defeats the rounds purpose and reputation of being feared for its devestating wounds.i have bout 15 rds of the wolf 55grHP

Cory, found the same thing in in both my 5.45x39 AR and 5.45x39 AK-74. I have about 900 or so rounds left of the 60gr Wolf HP and 3K of the Wolf 55gr HP. The 60gr is hard to find right about now. Cheers and stay safe!

Smith and Wesson M&P 5.45x39 AR upper is well known for having failure to feed. There are a bunch of reasons behind it, among them is the magazine issue. This means that it is incredibly sensitive to shorter length of 55gr HP Wolf. That being said, 55gr HP Wolf is TOO SHORT and sometime will have issue on AK too.
