Joe, there is no degradation in operation between the two loads in the Benelli so I would use the slightly heavier #8 Shot for skeet. Cheers and stay safe!

#8 for no wind environment (or extremely light breeze). If there is moderate wind the use #9. Honestly, either work perfectly for me...even #7.5 works fine. #8 will cycle perfectly in this gun. But you might need to break in a bit. I hope this helps!
