Use high velocity or heavy grain (40gr) ammo. Avoid low velocity or light 22 mag load. Avoid, ammo that has less than 1900 fps. Moreover, nickel-plated ammunition for best performance. I use CCI 40 gr. round nose and it works great. I hope this helps!

I have a different version of this gun, but it cycles whatever I put in it. Armscor, Hornady, CCI, it feeds them all.

Rich, it cycles most 22 Mag ammo just fine. Newer models have much better feed ramp polishing than older models. Cheers and stay safe!
