David, this is marketed to Fit Ciener, Kimber, Marvel, and Iver Johnson .22 LR Conversion Kits. I would question reliability in the Chiappa 1911-22. Si I would recommend the original Chiappa magazine : https://www.chiappafirearms.com/accessory.php?id=9
