This may seem like a foolish question, but is there an optional 26 " barrel length to be used along with the 28". I overlooked the overall length of 49.5 " on this shotgun.I already purchased the shotgun, waiting on delivery. Might be making to much out of this guys.

Joe, the Sport II is listed with the 28 inch barrel only on Benelli's website. Since other similar models list a 26 inch barrel option, I would contact Benelli Customer Service to see if the 26 inch barrel (option exists) and will fit this model at (301) 283-6981 (option 2) or (800) 264-4962 (option 2), 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday.
