when paying with a check you are asked for $25 on a credit card. Is that just to hold your order? I ask because I don't know if I should subtract that $25 from the total price of the gun and send a check in for that amount or make the check out for the total price and my credit card will not be charged. The $25 is a "good faith" deposit to hold the item for you.  The amount of your check should be is the total less the $25 deposit.   When you go through the checkout process it will tell you this.
