Lawrence, yes Sir. I highly recommend a Green Laser over a Red Laser. Cheers and stay safe! --- https://www.amazon.com/Laserguards-Construction-Instinctive-Activation-Competition/dp/B085B6JBQ7
Yes, Crimson Trace has a specific rail mounted laser for the Shield EZ pistols. Whether it's worth it or not is up to you. Crimson Trace makes quality products, have had one on a 1911 for several years.
You can mount the shield ez specific model with no issues, they are spendy, but can definitely speed up you target acquisition time and help transitions from target to target, so only you ca. Say of its worth it or not. Id run your 1911 on a couple of multi target drills at 10 yards and time it, time with irons, then time it with your CT, if the improvement is less then 1 second probably your just as good with the irons 1 second or more could be the difference between life and death so, throw a timer in it. Shot timer app in the Google play store is awesome and free if you don't have a shot timer In stock here https://www.crimsontrace.com/products/laser-sights/laserguard/lg-459g-laserguard-for-smith-wesson-mp9ez-mp380ez-mp22-compact/01-9880.html -------- Id also consider Viridian they have some less expensive models and are still top notch quality some models in stock here, or use the notify me when available button if the one you want is out of stock https://viridianweapontech.
