Matthew, 38H is just Magtech's item number for this 158gr +P load. It is just higher pressure plain ole 38 Special ammunition. It is fine to shoot in the LCR.
it's +P ammo
The +P means that it has a higher pressure than a standard .38 spl. This is achieved by using a either a larger powder charge or a powder that generates more pressure at though it may not be a greater powder charge weight. Physically the .38spl +P has the exact same dimensions as a standard .38 spl and will chamber in any firearm that accepts the .38 spl. However, many older .38 spl firearms cannot take the higher pressures generated by +P and +P+ ammo. Although the probably would fire a few rounds O.K., over time the stresses created by the higher pressure ammo may lead to failure. I will say that from my reloading experience, the pressures generated by +P ammo are just about the same as a max powder charge of conventional powder (depending on the band/type of powder). Nonetheless, I would err on the side of caution, and not use +P ammo if you firearm is not rated for it.
It's a 38 special + P for a LCR 38
