This should fit most AK drums and magazines. Some mag wells are tight at the front corners of the drum and stop it from going all the way forward. This is why you may need to file down a little bit of that section. This is not just issues with new model AK variants, but rather due to a significant amount of different types of AK made by different countries and companies. The magazine is also made differently to fit a slight redesign of those AK. I hope this helps.
Patrick, yes Sir. This is a true AK magazine well and is not an original Single Stack Model that was modified to accept double stack magazines/drums. Which are the models that have this problem. Cheers and stay safe!
Its put of stock right now but Red Army standard makes a drum mag https://www.centuryarms.com/maak78a.html ---------------- This draco should run drum mags no problem, just stick with reputable brands. Stay away from Promag, my Zastava Zpap M70 has fed from every magazine I've tried with it with no issues, some were a little tight at first, but the polymere mags self fit as they are inserted and removed, steel mags have always fit right out of the gat.
