I wouldn't remove the the trigger guard, that cou I d cause it to be unsafe to carry, plus it would cause muzzle flip to be that much more unsafe, Federal makes low recoil ammo that will help to reduce some of that recoil, it looks like its out of stock right now but you can keep your eyes peeled https://www.federalpremium.com/handgun/premium-personal-defense/personal-defense-hydra-shok-low-recoil/ You could also check with a gun smith about putting a tungsten weight on the underside of the gun up near the muzzle, the weight will help keep the barrel flatter, and from kicking as hard. Or 1 other option would be seeing if a gun smith could thread a barrel for you so you could run a compensator.

Franz, the contact point where the trigger guard is hitting your finger should be small and specific. Maybe a small padded band aid will cushion that area. Folks do this for areas on the foot that shoes cut into and it's simple but works. Cheers and stay safe!
