The Springfield is the better made of the two, the 6" barrel adds a little more sight radius, but the Colt will undoubtedly hold its value better as all Colts do, and is still a fine shooter. I have an old '80 series Delta Elite and it's the most accurate 10mm I own.

Danny, the Springfield is just a tad tighter tolerance and the additional inch of barrel will yield 65 to 75 additional velocity depending on load weight compared to the delta. The additional sight radius will help with accuracy especially at longer distances. I have an original Delta Elite and could sell it for nearly thrice what I paid for it but, it's a keeper as are many of my 10mm Jeff Cooper lead throwers. Cheers and stay safe!
