It's just a different Cerakote, which is like a bake on coloring, similar to powder coating used on chain link fences, but it is a bit harder and a little more scratch resistant. Sig makes most of their guns in different colors done by Cerakoting the pieces, in order to give you an accurate comparison between 2 different guns we'd need upc numbers, they're likely exactly the same but just colored different

Joseph, this model has the PVD Gray Finish. The only difference is the color of the coating according to original PVC or the newer Cerakote Finish. I bought my wife a P226 Legion SAO recently, as she was in love with the grey finish and the overall fit and finish of the pistol. However, when our pistol arrived, it ended up being more of a dark OD green-grey than the grey color we had expected. The box even says "gray" for the color. We called SIG USA's help line, who told us that they have recently changed to a Cerakote finish from the old PVD (I suppose because of the documented issues) and that some color variation is to be expected.
