Yes, all magazines (that are location legal) will ship directly to your home Matt.
No magazines do NOT need to be sent to an FFL. All magazines and other accessories that are legal in your locality will be shipped directly to your residence.
No typically magazines do not have to be sent to a FFL transfer dealer if they are legal in you location. But if your location is a restrictive one , it could depend on your profession (i.e.--law enforcement, 1st responder ,so forth and so on) if you can legally possess the item.
